Winter Engagement Session in Estes Park, Colorado

One of my favorite locations for an engagement session is at Knoll-Willows Open Space. Surrounded by mountains, Knoll-Willows sits atop a hill in the center of Estes Park. An easy, circuitous hiking trail brings you many visual delights- Lumpy Range, The Stanley Hotel, Downtown Estes Park, to name a few eye-catchers. I've done photo sessions here ranging from wedding photos, engagements, to family photos, in every season and type of weather, and have loved the many options this trail has to offer. If you're lucky, a herd of elk may be bedding down in the nearby tall grasses, which makes for a fun photo opportunity (from a distance, of course).
